The Wave

Build a wave, or roller coaster, to transport a basket ball in the fastest time possible. Sounds easy doesn't it? The Wave works as a great ice breaker as well as a longer activity to get all participants involved.

It focuses on communication, highlighting the importance of team work to achieve results.

Two competing groups will be split into smaller individual teams who will be tasked with creating part of 'the wave' using available resources, including tubes of rolled paper.

Cooperation is key to plan and execute the most effective wave and beat the opposing team.

Once the two courses are assembled it will become clear which teams communicated well with each other to construct their connecting pieces. Will your team be crowned The Wave Champions as your basketball successfully navigates the wave at lightening speed?
