Shaping The Future

A creative activity involving lots of polystyrene, carving tools and paint! This activity is great for reinforcing a ‘one team’ ethos, as well as developing communication, problem solving and trust.

You will be given all the tools you need to complete the task including 3 large polystyrene cubes, carving tools and art materials.

Teams will then work together to transform the blocks and create an eye-catching, memorable sculpture that meets the chosen brief.

Within each team there will be 3 sub-groups, each working on a block.

At intervals during the activity, all sub-groups will be asked to down tools and move on to the next block, throwing an unforeseen change into the mix!

Will you be able to communicate your vision to the next group and see your creation come to life, or will you need to embrace change as another team takes over?

The end result will be a sculptural representation of your team’s values, goals and vision in a memorable 3D work of art.
