The event begins with teams spending time on the farm gathering ingredients for the Baked-Off Challenge. A competitive element can be included into this session with teams navigating to the source of the chosen ingredient using a tablet with clues and a trail. Harvesting seasonal fruit, vegetables, collecting eggs from the hen houses, sausage making, and coffee bean roasting are just some of the morning exercises. Then onto the Baked Off challenge. Using the ingredients harvested from the morning, teams are challenged to create a culinary masterpiece, a ‘Taste of the Farm’. Which team will be able to handle the pressure and impress the judges to win the ‘Farm Baked-Off Challenge’?
